Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut serves people with disabilities, economic disadvantages, and other barriers to employment throughout western Connecticut. Our mission is to help people achieve independence and self-sufficiency through employment and related support services.

Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut strives to be the region's premier provider of human services, directed at developing the individual's fullest potential through employment opportunities, integration and inclusion in the community. We further strive to be a valuable resource for other human service providers around the country by demonstrating program excellence, stability, the application of entrepreneurial practices and the pursuit of customer satisfaction.

Today, Goodwill can proudly say that we have put tens of thousands of individuals on the path toward claiming their independence.

How You Can Help

• Donate clothing and household items.
• Volunteer your time to help in our stores and/or with special projects.
• Donate money, real estate, stock and cars.
• Shop at Goodwill stores. Proceeds are used for Goodwill employment and support programs.
• Hire a Goodwill graduate.
• Outsource assembly, collating and packaging jobs to our Industrial Services Department.
• Leave a legacy by remembering Goodwill with a bequest in your will.
