Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut is a non-profit organization that provides employment and support services to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Through programs that offer people the opportunity to develop the life-changing skills they need to obtain and keep a job, Goodwill helps the individuals it serves gain hope, dignity and financial independence. For over 55 years, the nonprofit agency has offered a full range of vocational and support services to people with disabilities and others facing challenges to employment and community living.

The Annual Goodwill Awards Luncheon, attended by the Goodwill board of directors, members, representatives of state and local social organizations and other community leaders recognizes these award winners and honors major monetary contributors and volunteers.  Goodwill President David H. Turner will outline the agency’s rapid growth and accomplishments and discuss plans for the future.
