The unique ability of Goodwill to integrate Best Practices in Retail with our Mission to promote independence and self-sufficiency through employment is nowhere more evident than in our Retail Stores.
A perfect site for vocational exploration and job try-outs, occupational skill training, supported and competitive employment and workforce development, our stores are committed to workforce development and facilitating personal growth on all levels.
To this end, we dedicate specific hours to workforce development activities for our employees and people enrolled in service programs. We have grown rapidly in recent years and have more of our service program participants working in our stores than every before.
We are able to consider referrals from other sources for time-limited assessment and training only in areas in which we do not provide vocational services.
