GOODWILL CAMPERSHIPS <BR><BR> You can help put a smile on their faces again!

Last summer, a generous community gave back by enabling Goodwill to enrich the lives of adults with disabilities and many disadvantaged youths by providing a summer camp opportunity. This experience made an amazing difference in their lives.

For the children it was an opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy the experience of summer camp without their parents having to worry about how to pay for it. Their parents are very grateful to the community for giving their children this chance to experience the benefits of summer camp--a chance that they otherwise would not have had.

For the adults with disabilities, it was a chance to relax and have a vacation in a safe and supportive environment. It was a great reward for all the hard work they put forth all year long toward achieving their vocational goals at Goodwill.

We would like to send more individuals to camp this year, but we need your help!

To send a child to overnight camp for 2 weeks, it costs $900, and 2 weeks of day camp for a child is $500. Our persons with disabilities can attend overnight camp for a week for $800. Your donation of any portion of these expenses will help send these people on their way to a dream come true.

Not a penny of your gift is wasted. If donations exceed our needs for camp, the funds will go into programs that help people with disabilities or other barriers to employment change their lives by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to become self-sufficient and achieve financial independence. Programs operate in many communities throughout Connecticut.
